The Ruling on Abstaining in Bed
A man abstained from his wife in bed for three or four months, then divorced her. Does she have to observe a waiting period after the divorce or not?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The waiting period is obligatory after divorce, and it always begins after the occurrence of the divorce, and God knows best.
