The Ruling on Ablution for Non-Prayer Acts of Worship
Ablution is a condition for the validity of prayer, so is it a condition or recommended in other acts of worship? And is it an independent act of worship?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Wudu (ablution) is a means of worship and a condition for it. It is recommended to be in a state of wudu at all times, and it is forbidden to touch the Quran without wudu. And God knows best.
