The Ruling on Ablution and Ghusl with Water from Seas and Unclean Pools:
What is the ruling on removing ritual impurity with seawater that has a slight odor from wastewater at certain times, swimming pools that have a chlorine smell, and swimming pools that contain impurities?
Answer
If the water is not impure, it is permissible to remove the state of ritual impurity with it. Impurity is what has mixed with filth if it is less than five by five meters, and if it is more and the impurity appears in it by color or smell, then it is impure. And Allah knows best.
