The Ruling on a Woman Praying Beside the Imam
Is it permissible for a woman to pray next to an unmarriageable male relative (mahram) or slightly behind him?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Her prayer is valid if she is slightly delayed from him, but if she is exactly aligned, her prayer is not valid, and God knows best.
