Is the wife entitled to request separation from her husband during the engagement period before consummation, given that the marriage contract has been concluded and the husband has incurred financial expenses? What are the consequences for both parties in the event of separation?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is disliked for her to seek separation without reason, and if they agree on that, she may forfeit her right to half of the dowry, and God knows best.
