Question
The questioner says: My husband never believes me, even when I am honest with him, so I have started to shorten the matter and lie to him. I know that this is against morals, religion, and custom, but this situation has made my life stable because of it. Sometimes I am forced to take money from him without his permission because we have special needs that he does not fulfill for us at all, and these needs are not limited to food and drink. Knowing that lying and stealing do not exceed the limits set by God, what is the ruling on this?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible for a woman to lie to her husband except for what is permitted by Sharia for the purpose of affection between spouses, and it is not lawful for you to take money from him without his permission, and God knows best.
