The Ruling on a Widow Staying in Her Deceased Husband's House During the Waiting Period
Is it permissible for a woman to stay outside her homeland alone after her husband's death, even if she is of advanced age?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible if she feels safe for herself and there is no temptation for her, and God knows best.
