The Ruling on a Vow When the Condition is No Longer Applicable

Question
I made a vow that if a problem of mine was resolved, I would prepare a lunch for the school where I work. However, the problem was resolved after I transferred from the school to a distant area, and I can no longer fulfill the vow at the same school due to the distance. What should I do?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not a condition to fulfill the vow in the same school, but rather it is estimated how much you provide for those in the school, and it can be given to the poor anywhere in any way you see fit, whether in money, food, clothing, or otherwise. And God knows best.
