The Ruling on a Mourning Woman's Appearance or Her Voice Being Heard by Non-Mahram Men

Question
Is it obligatory for a mourning woman to cover her face and hands during the waiting period even if she did not wear a veil previously, and should her voice not be heard by a strange man who is not a mahram?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: She is not required to cover her face, and it is permissible for a foreign man to hear her voice, but without adornment and leaving the house without necessity. And God knows best.
