The Ruling on a Mother Leading Her Children in Prayer

Question
I strive to pray in congregation with my children so they do not delay in prayer and to help them get used to it. However, I do not know the correct way for us to pray together. Currently, I stand in the middle of them and raise my voice a little so they can hear what I say and learn. But one of my friends told me that my eldest son should lead us or pray alone. What is the correct way for us to pray?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If your children are adult males, their prayer behind you is invalid, and they must make it up. One of them must lead the prayer among you, and God knows best.
