The Ruling on a Mosque Where Friday Prayer is Not Held
A mosque where the five daily prayers are held but Friday prayer is not held, does it remain a place of prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: What is held for the five prayers is considered a mosque, and what is held for Friday is called a جامع (Jami'), and they both have the rulings of a mosque, and God knows best.
