The Ruling on a Man Mourning the Deceased
It has been mentioned in the prophetic hadith that a woman is only allowed to mourn for her deceased husband, for a period of four months and ten days. However, regarding a man, is it permissible for him to mourn the deceased?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: There is no mourning for a man; because mourning has its specific rulings, and it is specific to the wife, and God knows best.
