The Ruling on a Girl Marrying Herself Without a Guardian

Question
My nephew wants to marry a woman who is 34 years old, and he is 38 years old. Her family refuses to marry her to him, and they have decided to marry and write the contract without a guardian. Is this permissible since both are adults and aware, and they are not minors? The family is firmly opposed, and he has tried in every way, and she wants him. They do not know what to do?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: They should go to the judge and inform him of that. If the guardians refuse the marriage without a justified reason for obstruction, the judge can marry the woman without her family's consent, and God knows best.
