What is the ruling on a fasting person who vomited less than a mouthful and then the vomit returned by itself?
Answer
His fast is not invalidated; because for the vomit that invalidates the fast, it must be intentional and a mouthful, and here one of these conditions is missing, so it does not invalidate. See Al-Tabyin 1: 325-326, and Radd al-Muhtar 2: 111.
