The Ruling on a Daughter Leading Her Mother in Prayer for Encouragement
A girl who is fourteen years old and has memorized the Holy Quran wants her mother to let her lead her in prayer to encourage her in memorization and prayer. Is it permissible for her to lead?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for her to lead, but it is preferable not to, to avoid the disagreement regarding the dislike of a woman leading, and God knows best.
