The Ruling of Ihram

Question
What is the ruling of Ihram?
Answer
It concerns the following rulings: First: The necessity of proceeding with it and the impossibility of exiting from it for those who have entered it except by the following: 1. Performing the ritual for which one has entered into Ihram, whether it is Hajj or Umrah, even if the Ihram is invalidated by sexual intercourse. 2. Performing Umrah if Hajj is missed. 3. Slaughtering the sacrificial animal in the case of being restricted in Hajj or Umrah. 4. The intention of refusal in combining the two rituals. Second: The obligation of making up if one exits without performing what one entered into Ihram for: as in missing or being restricted, or by performing what one entered into Ihram for in a corrupt manner: as in sexual intercourse. See: Al-Labab and Al-Maslak, p. 104.
