What is the ruling of a faster who became a resident in Ramadan and then traveled, eating while in a state of travel?
Answer
He must make up the fast without expiation; due to the ambiguity of travel, as expiation is not required in the presence of ambiguity. Refer to Al-Hadiyah Al-Ala'iyah, p. 165.
