The Rules of Brokerage
If one person agrees with the seller to sell a certain commodity for one hundred dinars, for example, and sells it for one hundred and twenty and takes the difference for himself, is this considered brokerage? Is it permissible for him to do that?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: this is a power of attorney for sale, so all the money belongs to the owner, except for what has been specified as a fee for the seller, and God knows best.
