I say, and with God's help: The phrase "Prayer is better than sleep" was called out by Bilal, the Prophet's muezzin, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) approved it, as mentioned in Sunan Abu Dawood 1: 190, and Sahih Ibn Hibban 4: 579, and God knows best.
