Question
If I do not ask my husband to cut off contact with his family nor do I prevent him from seeing them, but I do not like their presence, especially one of his sisters because she insults me and curses at me in my home, and I do not wish to see her, even though I do not prevent my husband from seeing his family in my home when I am not present?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is recommended for you to be good to your husband's family, to treat them kindly, to maintain connections with them, to be patient with them, and to seek reward from God Almighty. It is not your right to prevent your husband from maintaining ties with his family or seeing them; because God Almighty has made it obligatory for him to connect with them, and God knows best.
