What is the ruling on slaughtering the animal by saying: 'In the name of Allah' instead of saying 'In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to say the name over it in its various forms, including "In the name of God". It is preferable to say along with it "God is the Greatest", and God knows best.
