Question
A lady knows that the prayer of women in congregation without men is disliked. Is her understanding correct? What is the wisdom behind this dislike?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: In the opinion of the esteemed Hanafi scholars, it is disliked for women to pray in congregation alone; because it has not been widespread or common throughout history, and if it were a Sunnah, it would have spread; as it involves not raising the voice in recitation and the woman standing in the midst of other women, among other things that contradict the usual practice in congregational prayer. And God knows best.
