The Prevalent Opinion on the Gold Nisab
A lady says that she heard that the nisab for gold zakat is 100 grams, while she knows and teaches her children in their school curriculum that the nisab for gold zakat is 85 grams. How can the changes in nisab be explained? What is correct in this matter?

I say, and with God's success: This is a difference among contemporary scholars in estimating it, and both are correct, so one can rely on 85 grams or 100 grams, and God knows best.
