The Prayer of the Sick When Not Facing the Qibla
Is the prayer of the sick valid if they cannot face the Qibla, by praying opposite to it, according to the position of the bed in the hospital?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The condition of facing the Qibla is lifted for one who is unable to direct themselves towards it, so it is permissible for them to pray towards the direction they are able to face, and God knows best.
