Question
A man has a urinary incontinence issue, and after he performed ablution and prayed the obligatory prayer, the nurse came and emptied the urine bag. What is the ruling on his ablution? Is it permissible for him to pray the voluntary and time-specific Sunnah prayers without renewing his ablution before the time expires?
Answer
I say, and with God's help, if a person with an excuse does not have their ablution invalidated by this excuse, but rather by something else, such as the release of blood or gas, and so on, it is permissible for them to pray the obligatory and voluntary prayers until the time for prayer expires; because the ablution of a person with an excuse is invalidated when the time expires. And God knows best.
