The Prayer of One Who Only Knows Al-Fatiha
One who does not know how to pray and does not even memorize Al-Fatiha, and to make things easier for him, he has memorized Al-Fatiha. Is it permissible for him to pray only with Al-Fatiha knowing that he does not memorize the Tashahhud or anything else besides Al-Fatiha?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: His prayer is valid with what he memorizes from the Quran and remembrance, and if he does not memorize anything at all, his prayer is valid with remembrance only. He must learn what he can of the actions of prayer, and God knows best.
