The Permissibility of Performing Taraweeh Prayer Sitting or Standing Due to Inability
Is it permissible for a person to pray the twenty rak'ahs of Taraweeh, part of them standing and part sitting due to inability?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The voluntary prayer is valid whether performed sitting or standing, and the reward for the one sitting is half the reward of the one standing, and God knows best.
