The Permissibility of Following the Timing of Another Country in Fasting
A lady has a friend in another country. Is it permissible for her to follow our timing in fasting, to fast with us and break her fast with us?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible except to follow the timing of the country you live in by following the community of Muslims and not causing discord. If it contradicts the timing of her country, she must make up for it and perform expiation. And God knows best.
