Question
Brothers sold their father's house from the inheritance and received the price except for one of the brothers, who told the buyer: I retract from the sale. The buyer then said to him: I will compensate you with ten million in addition to the house. Is it right for the other brothers to take from this ten million that the buyer gave as compensation to their brother who retracted from the sale?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: this increase is religiously forbidden, and it is not permissible for the one who requested it; it must be left to the seller because the sale was concluded for a specific amount, so it is not valid to go back on it afterward, and there is no need for the brothers to participate in this sin; because it is a wicked gain, and God knows best.
