The Obligation of Making Up Fasts for Those Who Made Mistakes in Fasting

Question
Why does someone who ate while thinking that dawn had not yet been called to prayer have to make up the fast? Isn't it considered that they made a mistake, and the noble hadith says: 'Mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do have been lifted from my nation'?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The hadith speaks about sin in the judgment of the Hereafter, and does not discuss the validity or invalidity of fasting, and God knows best.
