The Obligation of Hajj for One Who Became Wealthy by Selling His House
A person sold his residence to buy a larger one, and now he has the amount from the sale which enables him to go for Hajj. Should he register for Hajj or is owning a home more important?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Hajj is an immediate obligation. Whoever possesses wealth sufficient for Hajj at the time of going for Hajj has it obligatory upon them, and they sin by delaying it. They must prioritize it over other needs, and God knows best.
