Question
Should we limit the non-fasting status of the nutritional injection to the field of treatment only? Knowing that we are aware of the fatwa of the scholar Muhammad Bakhti Al-Mutai'i in its generality, some people have taken the nutritional injection for the purpose of nourishment only during the day of Ramadan after hearing the fatwa from us about not breaking the fast with the nutritional injection like vitamins. Some people have used the phrase from the iftar supplication: 'and the veins have dried up' as an excuse?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The nutritional needle does not break the fast at all; because it did not enter through a recognized opening, and God knows best.
