I say, and with God's help: It is authentically reported from Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that washing is limited to three times, despite the fact that he narrated the hadith about washing seven times when a dog licks. This indicates that the hadith has been abrogated, and there are narrations of the hadith regarding three times. And Allah knows best.
