The Nullification of Wudu When the Blood of the Mujahideen Flows

Question
A question was raised about whether the flow of blood nullifies wudu. The answer was yes, but how can this be when the mujahideen pray while their wounds are bleeding, and Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, was stabbed and completed his prayer? Please clarify. I want an answer regarding the prayer of the mujahideen currently with their wounds because we are on the site.
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Prayer while there is blood present is invalid by consensus, due to the impurity of blood. It has not been authentically reported that Umar completed his prayer. The presence of blood on the fighters is due to necessity or because they have an excuse, and this prayer is permissible because of that. In any case, the issue of breaking ablution due to the flow of blood is a controversial matter among the schools of thought, with many evidences for it. And God knows best.
