The Mother Hitting Her Son
What is the ruling on hitting a small child who is not yet discerning for his own benefit, such as to make him study, is the mother sinful for hitting him if she does not benefit from means of encouragement?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: intimidation is an important factor in education just like encouragement. If hitting is measured for education, then it is good, and God knows best.
