The Mother's Refusal to Breastfeed
Is the mother sinful if she does not breastfeed her newborn?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: A mother is not compelled to breastfeed her child by law, but it is an obligation upon her religiously to fulfill his rights and to preserve his health, and God knows best.
