The Mother's Fulfillment of Her Adult Son's Vow
Is it permissible for a mother to fulfill her adult capable son's vow, in which he vowed to sacrifice a camel, and is it permissible to distribute the price of the camel to the poor instead of sacrificing it?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the son permits her to do so, it is permissible for her to fulfill the vow on his behalf by slaughtering or by giving the value of the camel in charity to the poor, and God knows best.
