The Mistake in Voluntary Fasting
I intended to fast on Ashura, I woke up in the morning at five o'clock and drank water, thinking that the call to prayer had not yet been made, but it was actually six o'clock. What is the ruling on my fast?

I say, and with God's help: The fast of that day is invalidated, and you must make up a day in its place, and God knows best.
