The Menstruating Woman's Entry to the Mosque

Question
What is the ruling on a menstruating woman entering the mosque for purposes other than prayer, and what can be understood from the noble hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ said to Aisha: 'Hand me the green mat that he prays on - the prayer rug -' She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am menstruating.' He said: 'Your menstruation is not in your hand,' and he ordered her to enter and take the green mat - meaning the mat?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is forbidden for a menstruating woman to enter the mosque except out of necessity; due to the requirement of purity for entry. The hadith is understood in the context of necessity; because there was no exit from the Prophet's house except to the mosque, and God knows best.
