The Meaning of the Martyr of the Hereafter
If a person dies on the Day of Arafah and is buried on the day of Eid, is he considered a martyr of the hereafter?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: There is no connection between the holiday and martyrdom, but the basis of the afterlife martyrdom is sudden death, such as from collapse, drowning, or burning, and God knows best.
