The Meaning of the Hadith (Three of Them I Am Their Adversary...)
The Hadith: Three of them I am their adversary on the Day of Resurrection, the Prophet ﷺ said: (Allah, the Exalted, said: Three of them I am their adversary on the Day of Resurrection: A man who gave a pledge and then betrayed it, a man who sold a free person and consumed the price, and a man who hired a worker and took full advantage of him without giving him his wages. What does this hadith mean? Please clarify it well.
Answer
I say, and with God's success: it means he returned after having sworn by God Almighty and betrayed his oath; the second: a man who sells free people; and the third: a man who did not pay the worker after he completed his work. And God knows best.
