The Invalidity of Conditional Clauses in Marriage Contracts
A woman stipulated to her husband in the marriage contract that he should not marry another woman while being married to her, but after a while, he married another woman without her knowledge, and then she discovered that. What is the ruling? And does anything result from their relationship?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: This condition is void and has no value, and it is not considered; because conditions in marriage contracts are not valid, and God knows best.
