Question
If a person wants to pay an amount of their zakat to someone, and in the morning they decide to go to the person they intend to give the amount to, and after two or three hours they give the amount without having the intention of paying zakat at that moment, is this amount counted as part of their zakat, or is it considered a regular charity?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: isolating the money to pay zakat is considered valid, even if one did not intend it at the time of payment, and God knows best.
