Question
What is the ruling on the husband's refusal to separate my money from his, knowing that I receive much more than his salary, and he does not spend from his money until my money is exhausted?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: The wife is an independent financial entity and has the right to manage her money as she wishes, as long as it does not harm the reputation or honor of the husband. The husband does not have the right to take control of her money. She should share with him in household expenses according to their mutual agreement in a way that pleases God Almighty. As for the rest of her money, she can manage it as she desires. And God knows best.
