The Hardship of Fasting During Long Hours
Is there a fatwa to facilitate fasting for those living in countries where the fasting hours are very long and difficult, especially if there are children, as well as in countries where the sun does not set?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Fasting is obligatory for adults regardless of how long the day is, and this is the norm for the people of these countries, and God knows best.
