The Gold Zakat Threshold
Why is the gold zakat threshold calculated based on 24 karats and not 21? Does this not lead to a decrease in the number of people paying zakat?

I say, and with God's success: The gold threshold is calculated based on the common gold in the country. If it is 21, then it is from it, and if it is 24, then it is from it. And God knows best.
