The Gift of Fitr Zakat for Others

Question
A Syrian lady living in Turkey receives Fitr Zakat from her neighbors, and she takes it and gives it to her son's children. What is the ruling on her action?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Whoever possesses the threshold of deprivation does not deserve zakat. Therefore, whoever possesses the zakat threshold, which is (100) grams of gold or its equivalent, in excess of their original needs, such as their house, apartment, furniture, car, and others, it is not permissible to take zakat money. However, if the sons of this lady's son do not possess the threshold of deprivation, it is permissible for them to take zakat. And God knows best.
