The Follower's Recitation of the Tashahhud if the Imam Precedes Him
Should the follower complete the Tashahhud during the middle sitting, or should he not complete the Tashahhud and follow the Imam, knowing that the Imam is quick in his prayer, recitation, and Tashahhud, and he stands up quickly without waiting for the follower to finish the recitation and Tashahhud?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The follower completes the testimony (tashahhud) and then follows the imam; because the testimony is obligatory, and following the imam is a Sunnah, and God knows best.
