The Error in the Recitation of the Imam
An imam recited the beginning of Surah Yasin in prayer as 'in a clear book' instead of {a clear guide} [Yasin: 12]. What is the ruling on the prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: His prayer is valid; because the meaning of {إِمَامٍ مُبِين}[يس:12] in the verse is "a clear book": that is, the preserved tablet, so it does not invalidate due to the existence of the error in that, and God knows best.
