The Easier Choice of the Schools of Thought

Question
I learned that I follow the Shafi'i school, is it permissible for me to follow the easier schools for me?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible for a Muslim to choose between the jurisprudential schools based on what is easier; because this is following one's desires. He must adhere to his school in its rulings. If it becomes difficult for him, he is allowed to switch to another school to follow, provided he finds someone to teach him or to give him a fatwa regarding it. And God knows best.
